8/29/2020 · The falls consisted of 3 parts – the large fall (Ootaki) of 18 meters high which could closely be viewed by walking over the suspension bridge. Then there were a Male Fall (Odaki), and a Female Fall (Medaki). The potholes (Ouketsu) at upstream were formed by pebbles and rocks gushing from the foot of Kirishima mountains.
