(Experimental) Gonal-f® will be self-administered subcutaneously at a starting dose of 50 International unit (IU) for Week 1, then (if required) dose will be gradually increased by 12.5IU, for two weeks with a final increase of 25IU, up to maximum dose of 100 IU, until Week 4.
5/1/2020 · The dose of Gonal-f ® (follitropin alfa for injection) to induce spermatogenesis must be individualized for each patient. Gonal-f ® must be given in conjunction with hCG. Prior to concomitant therapy with Gonal-f ® and hCG, pretreatment with hCG alone (1,000 to 2,250 USP units two to three times per week) is required. Treatment should continue for a period sufficient to achieve serum.
8/11/2020 · After the last dose of Gonal-f® has been administered, an injection of hCG may be administered twenty-four hours later. If abdominal pain occurs with the use of follitropin alfa, report it to your doctor immediately, discontinue treatment, do not receive the dose of human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG), and avoid sexual intercourse.
My protocol included low dose HCG and Gonal – F not follostim. I’m 11dp5dt and pregnant (beta is tomorrow). It’s hard to do but trust the process. It might not always work the first time around – sometimes they have to adjust for how your body reacts, etc. but they’ll find what works for you.
